City have made 3 million off Evans and although I think that is a good price, I still think we should have loaned him out.
There is two reasons I would have preferred a loan deal, one is that he could have gone on loan and done well and we could have commanded an even better price, the other is that I do not think we ever seen his best form and there is a possibility he would have come good after gaining loan experience.
Should Evans have been kept or did he miss his chance?
Please let's not pretend that he is good enough for the prem. I'm affraid that the championship is his level.
ReplyDeletei agree. he'll be a good championship player - with the strikers we have now it makes good sense to offload him, and 3m is a good bit of business
ReplyDeleteNobody is pretending he is good enough for prem yet, if you read I said he may have come on with loan experience.
ReplyDeleteWe are right to sell him - £3M is a good price and lets face it, he wouldn't make the grade with the talent now up front.
ReplyDelete3 mill is definitely a good price.
ReplyDeleteAND dont forget we have a sell on fee for him, and I imagine we would also have retained first refusal on him, so IF he does come good then we are not at a loss, if he dosnt come good then weve made 3 mill, win win I see it
ReplyDeletei wish ched all the best as he always gave 100% when he played but in the end of the day hes a championship player, bolton/blackburn standard at a pinch
