Kasper leaves for County!

Kasper Schmeichel has signed for Notts County on a five year deal. The fee is believed to be a club record for County, their biggest fee payed to date is £685,000, which they paid Sheffield United in 1991 for Tony Agana.

Kasper will be reunited with Sven at the City of the the lower leagues. It is a strange choice because although County are rich now, there is a rule in the lower leagues that you must spend only a certain percentage of what you take in, so he can't be getting massive wages. I am certain he could have gone to a club playing at a higher level, so all in all a bit of a strange move for Kasper to make.

I was always a Kasper fan and am sorry he has gone to be honest, I hope he progresses to a top level because I think he is good enough.

  1. very odd move for kasper and hughes.

Kasper is a better goalie than stuart taylor, who is certianly good enough for the championship, and prob cut the mustard in the prem too.
