Apart from season card holders who still have until Sunday to buy their tickets, the Hamburg game at Eastlands is sold out.I have just got back from buying my Hamburg tickets and I have to say it is the first time in a long time I have had to queue up to purchase cup tickets.
On arrival at the box office today there was a steward telling people that unless they were a season card holder the game is sold out, basically as it is very very likely that every season card holder will buy their seat, the game is a sell out.
I am not sure why they have put tickets on sale in this manner with no structure to who gets tickets and when, but I am guessing there will be some disappointed people.
City have opened the door for people to jump on the bandwagon and get a cheap European Cup quarter final ticket, I really hope that nobody who has been going to the Uefa Cup games regularly misses out on a ticket.
