Well unsurprisingly we won again, I mean jeez give these other teams a chance I feel bad for them, joke! Seriously another very pleasing win today against one of the leagues better sides.
Our first goal today was scored by Micah Richards, who had a good game all round. He headed home Gareth Barry's free kick, next to score for city was Craig Bellamy, Micah turning provider for Bellamy to hit home. Then came the sweetest goal, Adebayor heading home from an SWP cross before running the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of the Arsenal fans. It was SWP who wrapped up our scoring with a nice chip over Almunia from close range. *Goals Below*
All in all I think that both teams were actually quite evenly matched today, the main difference was that we put our chances away. We were a bit frustrating at times again today, we just seem to let teams put pressure on us and do not seem to worry when they are. I really wish we would settle on the ball a bit more, I think if we did we would win games more comfortably.
There was some good individual performances today and if it wasn't for Gareth Barry's performance an Nigel De Jong's, then we could have been beat. De Jong got tired in the second half but was superb in the first and as for Barry well he is just simply immense. Both players were carrying SWP and Ireland through the game today, they were both non existent, SWP might have masked his terrible display with his assist and goal but he was far from Premier League standard for most of the game.
Adebayor was also good today as was Bellamy who worked extremely hard down the left hand side. I would also like to mention Wayne Bridge who seems to be consistently getting better and better, his defending and his attacking are miles better than the Bridge we have seen since we brought him in to the club.
Another win and on we go, we should be full of confidence going to Old Trafford.
Goals.

who cares all u did was buy the team use didnt make shit use are acting like u guys built the great wall of china when in reality u just bought it
ReplyDeletearsenal had more shots should have had a pen and ademooneyoor should have been sent of next week u go to old trafford and there no ref is going 2 be on ur side then we will see man city for the wanabees they are as for adebayor he should get a six game ban and when he comes to the emirates hes a dead man
ReplyDeleteadebayor is a disgrace to prof football..real baby who can't carry himself with class and thinks he is better than everyone..no disrespect to city fans, but u do know he tried to get a move to chelsea or manu..pretty soon m sure city fans ll realise that he is a prick..
ReplyDeleteListen to the gunner crybabies who know their chance at the title is already gone!!! As for Adebayor- while I don't condone the celebration, I honestly don't think there was a great deal in the alleged 'stamp', and so far at City his attitude has been 1st rate. And well 4 goals from 4 premier league appearances will do me as well.
ReplyDeleteAs for anonymous @ 3.52, a game isn't won on how many shots you have! City have 6 shots on target and scored 4 goals. We didn't tried to walk the ball into the net like Arsenal did, we just put it in the back of the net when it was there as a present. Penalty was probably there but it would have been harsh as he clearly was trying to get out of the way of it, and adebayor perhaps should get 3 games for misconduct, but 6 games you are having a laugh!!!
It was an even game overall but we won because we took our chances! And you have an absolute s**t keeper!
man city have a team of rejects adebayor and toure rejected by arsenal bridge by chelsea robinho by madrid barry came for the money wright phillips failed at chelsea
ReplyDeleteman city sign some rejects win 4 games 3 against relagation canditates and they lucky againt arsenal as arsenal should have had a pen harsh or not it was a pen and adeboyor tried to blind someone on the street that is a prison sentance. now man city fans think there going to win the league. LOL
ReplyDeleteYou know these comments by Arsenal fans are pathetic, you got beat deal with it.
ReplyDeleteAs for Adebayors celebration, it is being said he provoked Arsenal fans, well did they not provoke him first? I mean throwing things was a stand up way to behave also wasn't it, pot and kettle.
As for the stamp, well if it was intentional he should not have done it. It is also funny to see Arsenal fans moaning about it considering it happened to the dirty Van Persie.
End of the day we scored more goals than you, which is the main aim in a football match!
